Due to increased fire danger, all open burning is prohibited in unincorporated areas of Chaffee County during this period. Please help keep our community safe by following these guidelines:

• Do NOT use open flames, including campfires or burn piles
• Properly discard cigarettes—never toss them on the ground or out car windows
• Fireworks are strictly prohibited—no exceptions
• Secure trailer chains to prevent sparks on roadways
